 யாமறிந்த புலவரிலே கம்பனைப் போல் வள்ளுவர்போல், இளங்கோ வைப்போல், பூமிதனில் யாங்கணுமே பிறந்ததிலை;  உண்மை, வெறும் புகழ்ச்சி யில்லை; என்று பாடிய கவியே! கம்பனை போல, வள்ளுவன் போல, இளங்கோ போல, பூமிதனில் பிறந்த வாணி வரம் பெற்ற முண்டாசுக்கவியே! "நண்பனாய், மந்திரியாய், நல்லாசிரியனுமாய் பண்பிலே தெய்வமாய் பார்வையிலே சேவகனாய் எங்கிருந்தோ வந்தான் இடைச்சாதி யென்று சொன்னான்!! இங்கிவனை யான் பெறவே என்ன தவஞ்செய்துவிட்டேன்!!  கண்ணன் எனதகத்தே கால் வைத்த நாளாய் எண்ணம், விசாரம் ஏதுமவன் பொறுப்பாய்ச் செல்வம், இளமாண்பு, சீர், சிறப்பு, நற்கீர்த்தி கல்வி, அறிவு, கவிதை, சிவயோகம் தெளிவே வடிவாம், சிவஞானம் என்னும் ஒளிசேர் நலமனைத்தும் ஓங்கி வருகின்றன காண்! கண்ணனை நான் ஆட்கொண்டேன்! கண் கொண்டேன்! கண் கொண்டேன்! கண்ணனை ஆட்கொள்ளக் காரணமும் உள்ளனவே!" கண்ணன் என் சேவகன் என்று இப்படி கொஞ்சி கவி பாடிய பாரிவேந்தே!! ஏகாதசி வைகறை பொழுதில் அந்த கண்ணன் உனை அட்கொண்டானே!! "வேதநூல் பழிக்கும் வெளித்திசை மிலேச்சர் பாதமும் பொறுப்பளோ பாரத தேவி?" என்று சுதந்திர வேட்கை விதைத்த வீரகவியே! இன்று வரலாற்றை புரளி செய்யும் ஈன ஆட...

பாப்கார்ன் கொறித்துக் கொண்டே மருத்துவரிடம் சொன்னாள்.. "இன்றே கருவை கலைத்துவிடுங்கள் டாக்டர் நாளை பத்தாம் வகுப்பு பரிட்சை"...

அப்பா.. நான் அந்த கதவுக்கு பின்னாடி ஒளிஞ்சுக்குரேன்.. நான் எங்கேன்னு கண்டுபிடி...  மகள்.. என் வாழ்வின் அழகிய அதிசயம்..

பக்கத்து அறையில் நோய்வாய்பட்டிருந்த கமலாவின் முனகல் சத்தம் கேட்டது..
